aboriginal teens, children and women are being murdered and dismembered!!!! they are being kidnapped and thrown into jails at a disproportionate number in relation to the native population of canada!!!!!!black, islam and jewish hate crimes are at a high!!!!!
stop overlooking these issues bc of misinformation!!!! canada has its own problems and you not recognizing that and believing we are some sort of happy problem-free land lends to the erasure of the issues we deal with!!!!
the last residential school closed in 1996!!! aboriginal people are still dealing with the effects of that!!!! we’re still dealing with the effects of colonialism and oppression!!!!! land continues to be stolen from the indigenous populations, treaties are still being broken!!!
racial profiling is a huge issue, similar to america, people are being killed for their skin colour, and we have a history of Japanese internment camps!!!!!
