It’s a slur. Don’t drop it as an insult in a casual conversation unless you want to take me and any other autistic/neurodivergent people listening straight to frown town

I hate it when non-autistics butt in and say “Only non-disabled people care about that word!”

Like, no, we can hear you. We know what it means. Many of us are involved in campaigns to treat people like us with respect. Stop erasing us and speaking over us.

Ableist slurs are hurtful and not okay.
