I don’t understand why the concept of a trigger warning is so weird to people. It’s the same thing as a wet floor sign, or a toy box warning about choking hazards, or video game ratings mentioning things like alcohol, swearing, smoking, gore, etc., or putting a disclaimer at the beginning of a tv show. It’s just a fair warning to anyone who will be uncomfortable with the content. It happens literally everywhere.
