The guy who is actually Owl City, Adam Young, wasn’t the one who pleaded guilty.

It was Daniel Jorgensen who used to tour with Owl City. Its kind of unclear exactly what he did on tour other than be a musician because most of the articles are clickbaity.

I’m pretty sure they just put Owl City into the headlines to get traffic rather than Young being actually culpable for anything.

Also, that guy worked with Adam *just* on tour and was actually fired, he wasn’t truly part of Owl City as in albums Adam does absolutely everything, Owl City isn’t a band but a single person, he just needs help on tour because of course you can’t play all the instruments at the same time so, yeah (not to underappreciate musicians and band members ily but) he was pretty much just a random employee, it’s as if a dancer in a Beyoncé show murdered someone and you said Beyoncé did it
