Sonic Adventure 2 is probably the least “mystical” sonic game and imho its a lot more funnier than it should be for it

Sonic Adventure 1 cutscene: Sonic gets teleported to a strange world in another time. 

Sonic Adventure 2 cutscene: Sonic and Tails break into the president’s limousine.
