for me it’s into the wild and the scarlet letter

Oh god if Lord of the Flies is even mentioned around anyone from my graduating class it would just be an immediate Salt Fest

I refused to read it and threw in the trash after the first chapter. 

Same although 1984 is where my true hatred lies. I’m sure it was great for it’s time but by god is it’s message outdated, and reads like a new writer trying to be dark and edgy but just follows every evil government dystopia ever.

((To this day any mention of “The Fountainhead” makes me inexplicably angry.))
