dreamers-studio:

So I go to an art college

I was working on a project for one of my classes that had to do with acrylic paint, and I had some leftover blobs on my palette, so I decided to utilize one of the old canvases I had in my draconian art supplies hoard and use it up. This is the result:

Pretty cool. I used gold and silver paint on it too just to give it some shine. Wish I had some of that glossy varnish to pour on top of it, but oh well.

Now, the art college that I go to has a lot of artwork lining the walls, which is to be expected. Some of them have been there for years (at least as long as I’ve been at the school), so people generally don’t give them much thought as they pass them by.

So I decided to do a little experiment.

I put the picture on the wall without anyone noticing in an inconspicuous spot.

It was there for 2 days before our brief break for Thanksgiving. I was anxious to know if it survived.

When I returned, to my great relief…

It was still there.

I’m eager to find out how long it stays up.
