“I want to live in a huge high rise apartment with my future partner that looks over the whole city so I can see the city lights at night”
“I want to live in a secluded little cottage in the woods with my partner, surrounded by woodland and nature, so that we wake up to the sounds of animals in the morning”
“I want to live by a beach so that my future partner and I can take long walks at sunset and go swimming in the waters whenever we want”
i’m starting to hate pride month because literally every other post on twitter and tumblr is like “happy pride month to everyone except terfs, terfs should go die” or some variation of that and they all have thousands of likes and reposts. like, get some new material dudes y’all are so unoriginal lmaoo. i’m getting so bored, you need to find more creative ways to express that you hate women who don’t agree with you.
to everyone who voted liberal or green party and is as horrified at the results as those of us who voted ndp: sometimes it’s honestly about the lesser evils, you know? nobody’s campaign was ever gonna be perfect, but now we’re all fucked together, and we can’t even know for absolute certain how fucked we are.
i cut out some responsibilities i didn’t have time to deal with and honestly i feel so much better already
I know people like to say “vote for who aligns most with your beliefs” which is definitely what you should be doing, but if the situation is one of DEFINITELY NOT WANTING ONE PARTY IN, then y’all gotta strategically vote…. Wynne literally said that they had no chance in hell of winning and Horvath said they would work together with the liberals, that was a goddamn invitation for the liberal voters to switch over to ndp to ensure Doug Ford didn’t get in but here we are. I can’t help but feel those were wasted votes, especially if people who were extremely against Ford and still voted liberal like we are on the same side here, Y’all knew Wynne wasn’t getting in again. And the split vote let Doug Ford win. Idk…. honestly. Also only %44 turn out??????
