Guys I’m in this movie and I’m telling you do not see it.
It’s badly written, poorly acted – everyone on set was up Johnny Depp’s ass. It’s not a good film, I had to sit through 3 weeks of trying to make a terrible scene good enough for them to want to put it in the movie.
They also cheated us (the extras) out of money that we were supposed to be paid for doing extra stuff (green screen work, having our images captured for their cgi, etc.) I’ll admit I was paid well but I wasn’t paid everything, because they named the other work something else to get away with not having to pay us for doing more than the base requirement of showing up and doing what the director said.

I’m doing archival research now, which includes records requests to law enforcement agencies. I’m using MuckRock to streamline that process, and could really use your help! Indigenous women experience exponentially higher rates of violence, which often goes unaccounted for. The MMIW Database seeks to fill these gaps in data by logging cases of missing and murdered indigenous women, girls, and two spirit people. Help us do this work by supporting our records request campaign–you can make a difference with as little as $3! All donations will be used to cover the costs of records requests to law enforcement and government agencies for MMIW case data–we pay MuckRock $3 per request for their services in helping us to file these requests (it’s a mess, and their help really streamlines the process!), and in addition to that, sometimes agencies will ask us to pay for the time and labor it takes for them to pull and scan these records. Your donation will go straight to MuckRock, to help cover these costs. If we reach our goal of $1500, that will pay for over 400 new records requests! We are submitting requests to tribal, city, county, state, and federal law enforcement, as well as correctional facilities (for deaths in custody), so we have a long way to go, but we can get there with your help.

People spreading false information has always been a pet peeve of mine.
Also as a science major I kind of feel the responsibility call out this kind of thing (given how often science is misconstrued by the media nowadays), and not just when it comes to scientific matters. This is the new era of ‘fake news’ and I want to do all that I can to at least make sure that the truth is maintained.
Disagree with me all you want, but lets be honest first.
