stereotypes of musical fans

great comet: good memes, usually annoyingly bitter about its closing (blames it on dear evan hansen’s success for some reason)

wicked: sweet, soft-spoken, just the nicest people ever

newsies: easily excitable, tons of gay ships, really good writers, nice

be more chill: good artists, annoying, often problematic (shipping jeremy and the squip, bugging the cast and creators, etc)

dear evan hansen: sad, pretty nice, gay, really cute

ghost quartet: artistic, pretty good sense of humor, quiet

in the heights: really love Lin-Manuel Miranda (with good reason)

hamilton: kinda basic, say things like “hamiltrash”, ship people with no basis and swear it’s canon

book of mormon: worship Nic Rouleau, dark jokes, pretty pure for some reason especially considering the content

heathers: just. a huge mess. I don’t know what we expected from a musical about sociopaths, murder, and attempted rape but this fandom is so problematic

anastasia: idk they make gifsets a lot???? cool i guess?

tuck everlasting: sweet, forever mourning its early closing

groundhog day: cool but like????? where are they???
