Stardew Valley (for the video games ask)

I love Stardew! It’s one of those things I kind of… Default to playing, I guess, when I’m not doing anything else or if I don’t really want to play anything in particular. One day I’d kind of like to get all the achievements, but the chances of that actually happening are pretty low. It’s one of my favorite games, and it doesn’t show any signs of falling from that spot any time soon.

Hey, so, I’m trying something new. I made a new tumblr account, rubyplaysgames, for a sort of personal project/challenge-type thing. The idea is that every week I pick one of the games in my collection, play it, and talk/write some stuff about it. I don’t know if anyone really wants to see this, but I hope someone does, because it’s hopefully going to be a lot of fun to do.

The really fun part about doing this is that a lot of the games in my collection are things I don’t know much, if anything, about – just stuff that was like, $2 and I picked it up because it was at the thrift store and looked cool. Or stuff I haven’t touched since I was 7.
