time to post some stupid headcanons and theories bc Episode One made me think
people forget that Shinichi is a geek
he reads books until morning
don’t tell me that sometimes Ran wouldn’t have to drag him to school
because NO I HAVE ONE MORE CHAPTER LEFT NO RAN YOU DON’T UNDERSTAND
and he would be just gloomy all day and muttering I bet the culprit is that person
don’t tell me that he wouldn’t remember to drink, eat or go to a date with Ran
and when everything ends and they start dating Ran would go to his place, but she knows it’s Reading Time, so she just leans on him and watches him read until she falls asleep
and then suddenly Shinichi is not so interested in his book anymore…
also whenever he can’t come to one of Ran’s matches, he watches it on the interenet with Sonoko and she tells him the best parts and teases him A LOT (like she doesn’t already)
Ran has actually read some Sherlock books because at first she wanted to know what was Shinichi talking about, and she can enjoy his dorkish face
Heiji and Shinichi have monthly meetings where they just analyze why are their girlfriends mad at them
Ran and Kazuha are trying to plan a date without a murder case

At the times of Christmas, amusement parks are full with couples everywhere. As you stay at the line for the attraction, thinking about his, you see Ran and Shinichi at their Tropical Land date. The Christmas mood night’s scenery is shimmering, so, feeling high, Ran hugged Shinichi from the behind. Is Shinichi not embarassed?.. But at the same time, and we can almost say ‘of course’, the crime happens. Shinichi starts to make deductions with shining eyes, (and then we can’t read the next sentence because thank you quality). (Probably) Ran, although complaining that he interrupted their date, is probably still charmed and will remember him making his deductions. Those two would be separated for such a long time. I want them to have another date like that.
