So Incredibles 2 had way more swearing than would even be allowed in a Pixar film and arguably more violence than the first Incredibles (Not to mention a short film in the beginning that likely mentally scarred alot of children)
It’s like the creators were like, “Fuck it! Most of the target audience for this film are people in their 20s and 30s who saw this as a kid. No point holding back and trying to make this so kiddie this time.”

void’s design and power was really cool i liked her a lot
i found myself loving dash and violet way more, especially dash, he had some great moments the little shit
and helen’s OUTFIT like FUCK she may not think she pulls off the edgy look well but GOD she does i was sweating the entire time
did i mention evelyn definitely had a thing for helen cause she did
robert annoyed me a little at the beginning but he redeemed it and i liked getting to see him be superdad while his wife stole my entire heart
the train and the plane scenes the way helen moved and fighting that dude in the weird creepy apartment or whatever and every single second she was onscreen being really hot and smart and a badass and having interesting conversations and building on her character and i’m in love with her
seriously i’m stanning helen so hard like she’s probably made it on my top 10 female characters list i gotta edit it she really just stole my heart out of my chest you did so fucking amazing
When that short Bao movie came on before the incredibles 2 and the Mother ATE HER CHILD I lost my mind and started cackling when I saw this kid look over to her mum and ask loudly “are you going to eat me if I annoy you”. And the Mother replied “I just might, right now.”
Incredibles 2 was soooo so so good. The audience clapped both before and after the movie. It was worth every moment of the 14 years tbh. Perfect. Go see it.
